April Review

Apr 30 2022 April Review

At the beginning of the month, I had the privilege of leading our Disciple Making Summit in the Norman, Oklahoma area. It was a great time with members from several different churches. Here’s what some of them had to say about it!

“Eye opening, challenging. Delivered with humor and obvious passion. Still processing how to meet the challenge. Thank you Dr. Tolson.”  — Gay Freeman – Retired Pastor

“Dr. Tolson has a great gift for humor and storytelling.  I enjoyed his lecture very much.  I left determined and encouraged to not just be a “hearer” but a “doer.” — Adam Putt – Currently working through the 4 Priorities

Dr. Tolson has hit it out of the park with The Four Priorities and his Discipleship Summit! I cannot tell you how inspired and excited about sharing my faith and walk with others after attending Dr. Tolson’s conference. I highly recommend for every pastor and his key leaders to find a conference or get Dr. Tolson’s book, it will change your life, it will change your friends, it will change your church!! Thank you Dr. Tolson!”  — Mark Dunning – Pastor

MULTIPLYING DISCIPLE MAKERS

One of the comments, from an attendee who is currently reading through The Four Priorities, stated, At the very beginning of the Summit, John talked about why he started this and how men were taking a backseat to faith and not being active and leaving it up to their wives.  I felt he was speaking directly to me when he said that because it was exactly how I was living and not being active enough in our family with faith.  That got my attention right away…”

THIS is why I am so passionate about men being discipled!

THE GATHERING OF MEN

The next series of Gatherings began this last Wednesday, April 27th.Thanks to the generosity of Northwest Bible Church, we are able to continue to meet in their building even while they are in the midst of a remodel. Unfortunately, we are only able to have two gatherings, not three.

RSVP here for the next series!

PRAYER

Punky and I have the privilege of meeting with several different couples for pre-marital counseling this year. We have been so impressed with the strong faith we’ve witnessed in each of these couples and their relationship with one another. We all know that the enemy is after Christian marriages. So, will you pray with us for the Lord to place His hedge of protection around these couples as we disciple them and help prepare them for marriage this year?

How can we pray for you? Punky and I consider it a great privilege to pray for you — specifically, for a need or burden you might have, or to celebrate what God is doing in your life. This is one way we can stay connected to do you and do life together. Just comment here and let us know how to pray — and we will.

Warmly in Him,

John Tolson
